Women safety has been a nationwide topic of debate. In order to curtail such issues, a mobile application called Smart 24X7 App, also known as Raksha, was launched by the Chandigarh police nearly a month ago.
The app is user-friendly and people can download it in their mobile phones though Google Play, Window Phone, App World and App Store.
To start with it, after downloading the app, one has to click on the installation button, and after the registration, you can use it.
With the help of this app, your mobile phone gets connected to the police control room and in case of any distress you can seek police help by pressing the panic button.
