Anurag gears up for 45 crore flick | Total Filmy

Anurag Kashyap, director of 'That Girl In Yellow Boots,' a film which received an incredible response at the Toronto International Film Festival, is gearing up for his most expensive film, tentatively titled, 'Gangs of Wasseypur'.

With a budget of 45 crore approximately, the film will be co-produced by Kashyap, Sunil Bohra and Studio 18.
Though the budget of the film is high, surprisingly it will not have any A-list actors from Bollywood.

'Gangs of Wasseypur', a “stylised action plot”, features talented newcomers, except Manoj Bajpai and Raima Sen. The film will be shot in India, specifically in UP, Bihar and Orissa.
Confirming the news, versatile director Anurag Kashyap revealed, “It’s a stylised action plot, in which a revenge drama is spread over three decades.
“Everyone is aware that Manoj and I are working together after Satya in this film. We are going to shoot for the next three and a half months in UP, Bihar and Orissa.”
When questioned about the pricey budget, he commented, “Yes, it is an expensive film and I have never worked on such a big budget before.
“The only known actors are Manoj and Raima and, to an extent, Piyush Mishra. All the other actors are new but extremely talented.”
Believe it or not, 'Gangs of Wasseypur' has 18 songs, composed by Sneha Khanvilkar.
Looks interesting. What say?
