Bebo to act in political drama 'Bhrub'? | Total Filmy

Bebo to act in political drama 'Bhrub'? | Total Filmy

Imagine Kareena Kapoor playing a political character? Latest reports reveal that Farhan Akhtar's production house, Excel Entertainment has proposed Bebo for a political drama, 'Bhrub'.

'Bhrub' is the name of the film, also name of the central character in the film.

Though nothing has been confirmed by Bebo, the film will be directed by 'Chameli' director Sudhir Mishra.

Sudhir Mishra confirms approaching Kareena
Confirming the news on approaching Kareena, Sudhir Mishra revealed, “Yes, we have approached Kareena Kapoor for my forthcoming film to be produced by Farhan called 'Bhrub'.
“The Devdas remake I was planning didn't work out as the script I wrote became something else. That script went on to become 'Bhrub'. Bhrub happens to be the name of the central character around which the film will revolve. It's about a man who's an heir to a political family.
“Kareena will play the female protagonist. She has an equally important role to play.”

Nothing has been confirmed about the male lead. It will be finalized once Farhan is back after completing the shooting of 'Don 2'.
The director, who has worked earlier with Bebo in 'Chameli', feels that Kareena has immense talent and she has yet to explore more of it.

Aamir demanding 70 percent share in his next
Separately it is being reported that Reema Kagti's untitled film, which also have Rani Mukherjee and Kareena Kapoor, is the first film signed by Aamir, after his blockbuster film '3 Idiots' in 2009.
Surprisingly, Aamir has demanded a 70 percent share in the new film, a joint production of Aamir and Farhan Akhtar. But such reports have been rubbished so far.

I crave for a big hit as I work very hard--Akshay Kumar | Total Filmy

I crave for a big hit as I work very hard--Akshay Kumar | Total Filmy

Despite two flops, 'Khatta Meetha' and 'Action Replayy', at the box-office, Akshay Kumar is still in high spirits for promoting his forthcoming flick, 'Tees Maar Khan', (TMK) releasing on Dec. 24.

Indeed, the actor's career graph is facing many highs-and-lows as out of four, two of his films were box-office duds. 'Housefull' scored him well and TMK has yet not released.
Akshay is well-known for his versatility and hardwork, and it is quite evident in the roles that he performs.
But considering the current situation, the actor needs a big hit. In an interview with IANS, Akki said, “If you follow my career graph, there have been a lot of ups and downs. It doesn't matter.
“I am not desperate, but, yes, I crave for a big hit all the time because I work very hard. I release around four films a year. I work very hard in each and every film.”

No takers for serious movies, says Akshay
Akshay Kumar has been tagged as the Bollywood Khiladi, especially after his action genre Khiladi series like 'Khiladi' (1992), 'Mohra' (1994), 'Sabse Bada Khiladi' (1995) and 'Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi' (1996).
But for last few years, the 43-year-old actor has been trying his hand at comedy with films like 'Mujhse Shaadi Karogi' (2004), 'Garam Masala' (2005), 'Hera Pheri' (2000), 'Phir Hera Pheri' (2006), 'Heyy Babyy' (2007), 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa' (2007), 'Welcome' (2007), 'Singh is Kinng' (2008), and 'Housefull' (2010).

Believe it or not, Akki received many applauds for his performance in these roles.
Commenting on the recent trend, the actor said, “If you ask me whether I would like to do a serious film, yes, I would love to do serious roles, serious characters. Unfortunately, it doesn't work. No one comes to see serious films. All look for fun films.
“I have tried doing something or the other and I will keep doing it if I get a good script.
“There are certain types of people who don't want straight or hard-hitting films. You have to understand your audience and keep on doing something - this is what my experience tells me. I haven't done any romantic film either.”
“Also, I have to understand the business...I can't do a film to satisfy myself; I have to satisfy others because I am an entertainer,” Akki further added.
But for all those who still want to see Akshay in a new avatar, there is a good news. The actor will be shooting for an action film with Prabhu Deva, next year.

Akki has high expectations from TMK
The thespian is expecting his forthcoming film 'Tees Maar Khan' to do well. The official trailer has received quite positive reviews, with more than 6,50,000 views on YouTube.
Besides, Katrina's raunchy item number 'Sheila Ki Jawani' is making everyone go gaga.
In Farah Khan's 'Tees Maar Khan', Akshay will be seen portraying the role of a conman, and seen fooling people around him.
Commenting about his role in TMK, Akki said, “This is a fun character, full of enjoyment. He (the character) is a conman and so there is a lot of mischief.
“The character is actually very shrewd. He always tries fooling people because he wants to make it big. He never does anything himself; he makes people do things for him. I haven't done such a fun and frolic role for a long time.”
Besides 'Sheila Ki Jawani', the TMK team has rolled out another song, 'Wallah Wallah', featuring Salman Khan as cameo along with Kat and Akki.
About 'Wallah Wallah' director Farah Khan tweeted on the micro-blogging site, Twitter, “Ok all!wallah wallah starts 2day!on news channels 1st!sndng u my fav pic frm the song.lov ul.”
Hope 'Tees Maar Khan' gets thumbs up. Wish you good luck Akki.

Who is Piggy Chops' new love interest? | Total Filmy

Who is Piggy Chops' new love interest? | Total Filmy

Scuttlebutt has it that tinsel villa's hottie, Priyanka Chopra has found her new love-interest on the sets of 'Don 2' in Berlin.

The buzz is that Piggy Chops has been spotted sharing amicable relations with debutant actor, Sahil Shroff since the very first day of the shoot.
Newbie Sahil Shroff, who will be seen portraying a supporting role in Farhan Akhtar's 'Don 2: The Chase Continues', has appeared in numerous top commercials.
He has even contested in TV show,'The Amazing Race Asia'.

As this is Sahil's first film, the talented Piggy Chops was seen giving him few suggestions.
A little birdie familiar with the matter revealed, “Priyanka and Sahil get along like a house on fire. They are very good friends. Don 2 is Sahil's first film and the actor was struggling for a bit to come to grips with the demands of this mega-project.
“We hear Priyanka gave him tips and helped him get a few things right.”
Nothing as such has been confirmed yet, but if it's true, then that's something interesting.
Few weeks ago, Piggy Chops and Shahid Kapoor were making headlines for their on and off affair, but the duo, finally called it off in October.
Speculations are rife that the duo broke-up as Shahid was uncomfortable with Piggy Chops camaraderie with Ranbir Kapoor during 'Anjaana Anjaani'.
Hope Shahid does not mind Sahil's presence!

'Bigg Boss 4' updates: Veena says 'I Love You' to Ashmit | Total Filmy

'Bigg Boss 4' updates: Veena says 'I Love You' to Ashmit | Total Filmy

It was a kodak moment of 'Bigg Boss 4', when Veena Malik hugged Ashmit Patel saying, “I Love You.”

Whether this is a sign of beginning of a relationship is still to be known. But one thing is sure, something is fishy between the duo.
It all happened after 'Prem Divas', alias nomination day, when Ashmit and Manoj Tiwari got nominated.
Veena was seen consoling Ashmit, saying that if he is evicted, then she will meet him out next week as she won't be able to stay in the house without him.
Tears were rolling down their cheeks as the hugged and kissed each other. Wonder what will happen to Veena, if Ashmit gets eliminated this week.
Dolly apologizes to Shweta Tiwari
Dolly Bindra, who returned to 'Bigg Boss' after audience demand, was seen in a new avatar. Hold on, new avatar does not mean a new look, here it means behavior.
Though no one seemed happy with her entry, everyone welcomed her well.
During the task of 'Sultana-e-sultanate' given by 'Bigg Boss', Dolly Bindra, who played the queen, apologized to Shweta Tiwari for her misbehavior and abusive remarks, which led to her immediate eviction from 'Bigg Boss'.
As a sweet gesture, Shweta too apologized to Dolly for her misconduct.
Besides, Dolly jee even apologized to other contestants for her hurting remarks.

Other gupshups
When Dolly made her entry back in the 'Bigg Boss' house, Veena and Ashmit behaved sweetly towards her and bitched about other contestants, especially Shweta and Manoj.
Indeed, they wanted to know the outside updates. Dolly didn't reveal much but told Veena that Sara nominated her.
This shocked Ashmit and Veena, who later confronted Sara. Interestingly, Sara admitted it. To this, Ashmit replied, “You are disgusting.”
Nomination updates
What came as a surprise during nominations is Seema nominated his “bhaiya”, Manoj Tiwari. It seems the winds are changing its directions in the house.
Khali and Dolly are safe from this week's eviction. The three contestants who had been nominated, were Veena, Ashmit and Manoj.
However, 'Bigg Boss' gave a special power to wild card entry, Dolly Bindra, to save any one of the three nominated contestants. And as expected, Dolly took Veena's name as she has amicable relation with her.
Later, Veena thanked Dolly for saving her from the nominations.
Indeed, the episode was quite interesting with Dolly's entry, but lets see who gets voted out this week. Looks like the show is gearing up to get more spicier.

Anurag gears up for 45 crore flick | Total Filmy

Anurag gears up for 45 crore flick | Total Filmy

Anurag Kashyap, director of 'That Girl In Yellow Boots,' a film which received an incredible response at the Toronto International Film Festival, is gearing up for his most expensive film, tentatively titled, 'Gangs of Wasseypur'.

With a budget of 45 crore approximately, the film will be co-produced by Kashyap, Sunil Bohra and Studio 18.
Though the budget of the film is high, surprisingly it will not have any A-list actors from Bollywood.

'Gangs of Wasseypur', a “stylised action plot”, features talented newcomers, except Manoj Bajpai and Raima Sen. The film will be shot in India, specifically in UP, Bihar and Orissa.
Confirming the news, versatile director Anurag Kashyap revealed, “It’s a stylised action plot, in which a revenge drama is spread over three decades.
“Everyone is aware that Manoj and I are working together after Satya in this film. We are going to shoot for the next three and a half months in UP, Bihar and Orissa.”
When questioned about the pricey budget, he commented, “Yes, it is an expensive film and I have never worked on such a big budget before.
“The only known actors are Manoj and Raima and, to an extent, Piyush Mishra. All the other actors are new but extremely talented.”
Believe it or not, 'Gangs of Wasseypur' has 18 songs, composed by Sneha Khanvilkar.
Looks interesting. What say?

SRK and Farah's bigadte rishtey | Total Filmy

SRK and Farah's bigadte rishtey | Total Filmy

Farah Khan and Shahrukh Khan, once best buddies, have parted ways. Strangely, the duo has ended their happy-go friendship, and moved ahead.

Scuttlebutt has it that SRK, taking advantage of his amicable relations with the executives of Eros International, asked them to postpone the release date of Ajay Devgan and Kajol starrer, 'Toonpur Ka Superhero' from Dec. 17 to Dec. 24, to give a competition to Farah's 'Tees Maar Khan', releasing on Dec. 24.
Though nothing has been confirmed, if it's true, then Farah would definitely not sit quiet.
When Kumar Mangat, co-producer of 'Toonpur Ka Superhero', was questioned about the shift in the releasing date, he replied, “Aisa nahi hai. Toonpur Ka Superhero ka producer main hoon aur maine uska release date decide kiya."
Interestingly, even the company's official spokesperson rubbished the rumors and commented, “Toonpur Ka Superhero has been scheduled for Christmas Eve as it is a children/family entertainer. No other reason. So, December 24 would be a perfect time to release the film as vacations would have begun by then.”

Reasons behind friends turning foes
Both Shahrukh and Farah have not come out about their the grudges.
As per the tabloids, it all started when Shahrukh kept resending the script of a film to Farah claiming that it wasn't apt. This only irritated Farah, who realized that he was only dillydallying and delaying the project.
Apparently, SRK wanted to start sci-fi flick 'Ra.One' and action-thriller, 'Don 2', before doing Farah's film.
Situation turned worse, when Farah roped in Akshay Kumar, one of SRK's rival, in 'Tees Maar Khan' (TMK) thus, breaking the trend of casting Shahrukh in her films.

SRK ill-treated Farah hubby
Surprisingly, speculations are rife that Shahrukh had ill-treated Farah's hubby, Shirish Kunder by initially asking him to direct 'The Zoya Factor' for his production and later passing it on to someone else without informing him.
Interestingly, SRK had even agreed to act in TMK, but later had second thoughts when he came to know that Shirish would be directing it. Palpably, this hurt Farah Khan, and she decided to support her husband.
Shirish was also planning to pencil in SRK for 'Joker' but now he has roped in buddy Akki and Sonakshi for thefilm.
Hope SRK breaks the ice soon. What say?

Ranbir wants to get back with Deepika? | Total Filmy

Ranbir wants to get back with Deepika? | Total Filmy

It seems that the Kapoor lad, Ranbir, who broke-up with Deepika Padukone in October 2009, is still confused about his relationship with his ex.

Where on one side Rishi Kapoor is miffed with Deepika, Sonam andKaran Johar for statements against Ranbir in 'Koffee With Karan', and has boycotted KJo, on the other side it seems Ranbir is trying to mend fences with Deepika.
Interestingly, Ranbir Kapoor was spotted outside Deepika's abode at 12:45 am, as revealed by Mumbai Mirror.

Ranbir Kapoor pleaded guard to allow him
Believe it or not, two months ago, Ranbir was seen outside Dippy's building at 12:45 am, begging the guard to let him in.
The guard didn't allow him to go upstairs to meet the leggy lass, but Ranbir was in no mood to leave without meeting his ex-flame.
Though Ranbir pleaded the guard, he unheard the plea and remained adamant on his decision.
Left with no option, Ranbir called-up Deepika and begged her saying, “Please allow me to come up. I am sorry. I want to explain.”
After waiting for half an hour, Ranbir met Deepika, and left the place at 1:45 am. Indeed, prior the break-up, Ranbir had frequent visits to this place.
Interestingly, few months ago, when the duo was in capital, Ranbir was spotted knocking Deepika's hotel room at midnight. He kept knocking, but the lassie didn't open the door. Later, he was asked by a director friend to leave.
“Absence makes the heart grow fonder” is an apt saying for Ranbir, considering his current condition.

Deepika removes her RK tattoo
Tinsel villa hottie, Deepika Padukone, who is currently dating Siddharth Mallya, few weeks ago in KJo's chatshow, 'Koffee With Karan' confessed that she would not be removing her RK tattoo, and will keep this sign of friendship with him.
Palpably, Deepika had inked the RK tattoo at the nape of her neck while dating the Kapoor lad.
But now surprisingly, the actress has modified “RK” and inked “TMK”. Strangely, “TMK” is for 'Tees Maar Khan'. May be to impress Farah Khan!
Evidently, the actress has put an end to all rumors raising speculations about her relation with Ranbir.
Wondering what Daddy Kapoor has to say on this!

'Bigg Boss 4' elimination: Hrishant Goswami gets the boot | Total Filmy

'Bigg Boss 4' elimination: Hrishant Goswami gets the boot | Total Filmy

“Main kisi ka diya hua dukh bhul sakti hu, magar kisi ki di hui mohabhat, kabhi nahi bhula sakti.” These were the lines said by the emotional Veena Malik, after Hrishant got eliminated from the 'Bigg Boss Season 4'.

Out of five nominated contestants, Samir Soni, Veena Malik, Ashmit Patel, Shweta Tiwari and Hrishant, Hrishant's elimination was quite unexpected.
After Hrishant got the boot, Ashmit and Sara were seen seemed quite upset and interestingly, Manoj Tiwari too got emotional, but not as much as Veena Malik. She got emotional and had tears rolling down her eyes.
While leaving the house Hrishant stated he had a wonderful time in the house, and added, “Mujhe ab to ek picture mil hi jayegi.”
Currently, 'Bigg Boss' house has become dull and lacks excitement, fun, scuffle and laughter.
Speculations are rife that Dolly Bindra will be re-entering the house today. If this happens, then the makers and Hrishant will be happy ones, and unfortunately, the in-house contestants will be unlucky ones.

Rahul Bhatt to star in 'Dabangg 2'? | Total Filmy

Rahul Bhatt to star in 'Dabangg 2'? | Total Filmy

Tagged as the godfather of newcomers in the Bollywood industry, Salman Khan is all set to launch Rahul Bhatt, the angry young fitness trainer, who was recently seen in reality show, 'Bigg Boss Season 4'.

If the rumors are to be believed, then Rahul Bhatt will be seen featuring in Arbaaz Khan's 'Dabangg 2'.
Apparently, Rahul wants to build up his own persona in the society rather being known as “Mahesh Bhatt's son”. This was probably one of the reasons why he opted to participate in 'Bigg Boss 4'.

Rahul is suitable for action genres, says Salman
Salman Khan, acknowledged as “bhai” in the industry, will be working on an action project to soon launch this star as he feels Rahul is more suitable for action and emotion genres.
Rahul, who needed a break in the industry, is ecstatic for being helped by the Bollywood biggie.
Confirming the news, Rahul said, “Yes, Salman bhai is working on something for me. I trust him completely. He says action and emotion are my forte. I believe that. We're both on the same page. And that's a relief."
Besides, viewing this newbie on the reality show 'Bigg Boss' on Colors, the actor is presently receiving many offers from various filmmakers.
Well, Rahul is indeed a lucky one to get a grand launch by Sallu bhai.

Rahul not interested to work in own home production
Being a son of the versatile filmmaker, Mahesh Bhatt, Rahul is not curious to work in his home production.
With a motive of building his own individuality in the industry, his step of participating in the reality show turned efficacious for him.
A source familiar with the matter revealed, “Neither Bhatt Saab nor his son was comfortable with the idea.
“It's just not in the boy's personality to piggyride on his father's name. He is fighting hard to shrug off the label of just being his father's son."
Rahul commented, “I've waited long enough. I went into Bigg Boss so people would see me as more than just the faceless son of Mahesh Bhatt. It worked."
Palpably, daddy Bhatt was planning to launch his son in 2007 in 'Suicide Bomber', directed by Anurag Basu. However, due to certain issues it was left out. And now, Basu is working on his next, featuring Rahul.

More about Junior Bhatt
Born on Jan. 24, 1982, Rahul Bhatt shot to fame inadvertently in 2009 for having amicable relation with David Headley, an accuser of 2008 Mumbai attacks.
Apparently, he had met David in Mumbai gym in Sept. 2008. As David had more experience in guns, spycraft and action movies, the duo became friends.
After the 26/11 incident, David wrote a condolence letter to Rahul apologizing for the incident, and said he would meet him soon.
At the end, we wish Rahul all the best.

I love my heros—Farah Khan | Total Filmy

I love my heros—Farah Khan | Total Filmy

Choreographer-turned-director Farah Khan might be quite particular towards the heroines in her film, but this talented personality recently revealed, on Karan Johar's chat show 'Koffee With Karan Season 3', that she loves her heros than the heroines.

Citing a reason to this strange answer, the 'Tees Maar Khan' director commented, the heros come on time and take less time to get ready for shoot. Rather the heroines take nearly four hours to finish up their make-up, and still they look the same, barring some.
Well, KJO's recent episode is an interesting one as it has the top three directors of the industry, Farah Khan, Rajkumar Hirani and Imtiaz Ali, along with Karan Johar.
Interestingly, the foursome had great fun chatting and pulling each other’s leg on the show. The episode will be aired on Nov. 28.
I have non-existent sex life—Farah Khan
Karan and Farah camaraderie is not new to the industry. They are well-known buddies in the industry. However, on the show, Karan asked her everything to make the show spicier, starting from her fight with Farah’s buddy, Shahrukh Khan to Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
During the interesting gossips, KJO even asked Farah to describe her sex life in two words, and Farah replied, “Non existent.”
“Between my three kids and the making of Tees Maar Khan, that’s been the case,” added the 'Om Shanti Om' director. Later, she busted out laughing and said, “I was just joking.”
Farah Khan entered nuptials with film editor-cum-director Shirish Kunder in 2004, and currently, is the mother of triplets.
We completely understand Farah that you were joking!
