Farah Khan and Shahrukh Khan, once best buddies, have parted ways. Strangely, the duo has ended their happy-go friendship, and moved ahead.
Scuttlebutt has it that SRK, taking advantage of his amicable relations with the executives of Eros International, asked them to postpone the release date of Ajay Devgan and Kajol starrer, 'Toonpur Ka Superhero' from Dec. 17 to Dec. 24, to give a competition to Farah's 'Tees Maar Khan', releasing on Dec. 24.
Though nothing has been confirmed, if it's true, then Farah would definitely not sit quiet.
When Kumar Mangat, co-producer of 'Toonpur Ka Superhero', was questioned about the shift in the releasing date, he replied, “Aisa nahi hai. Toonpur Ka Superhero ka producer main hoon aur maine uska release date decide kiya."
Interestingly, even the company's official spokesperson rubbished the rumors and commented, “Toonpur Ka Superhero has been scheduled for Christmas Eve as it is a children/family entertainer. No other reason. So, December 24 would be a perfect time to release the film as vacations would have begun by then.”
Reasons behind friends turning foes
Both Shahrukh and Farah have not come out about their the grudges.
Both Shahrukh and Farah have not come out about their the grudges.
As per the tabloids, it all started when Shahrukh kept resending the script of a film to Farah claiming that it wasn't apt. This only irritated Farah, who realized that he was only dillydallying and delaying the project.
Apparently, SRK wanted to start sci-fi flick 'Ra.One' and action-thriller, 'Don 2', before doing Farah's film.
Situation turned worse, when Farah roped in Akshay Kumar, one of SRK's rival, in 'Tees Maar Khan' (TMK) thus, breaking the trend of casting Shahrukh in her films.
SRK ill-treated Farah hubby
Surprisingly, speculations are rife that Shahrukh had ill-treated Farah's hubby, Shirish Kunder by initially asking him to direct 'The Zoya Factor' for his production and later passing it on to someone else without informing him.

Interestingly, SRK had even agreed to act in TMK, but later had second thoughts when he came to know that Shirish would be directing it. Palpably, this hurt Farah Khan, and she decided to support her husband.
Shirish was also planning to pencil in SRK for 'Joker' but now he has roped in buddy Akki and Sonakshi for thefilm.
Hope SRK breaks the ice soon. What say?
