Giving a full stop to all the erupting controversies relating to the scripted marriage of Sara and Ali Merchant on 'Bigg Boss', Ali, who had an emotional exit yesterday, revealed, the marriage was not scripted and is unaware why Sara's parents are lying that the duo had married earlier.
Ali alleged that the pictures, which Sara's parents had shown, were their engagement pictures, not marriage. Rather he added that he and Sara had engaged twice, once in Mumbai and then in Bhopal.
Ali told Mid-Day, “I haven't married Sara before. This is the first time we got married and everyone who thinks otherwise is wrong.
“I had taken my folks and in-laws into confidence about the wedding and they fully supported our decision. There was nothing fake about the wedding. It's sad if people think that it was staged.”

Besides these controversies, Ali said that he had a wonderful moment in the 'Bigg Boss' house, especially his marriage with Sara, and denied all the rumors stating Sara and Ashmit's relationship.

“I think we are all grown-ups and open-minded. Ashmit and Sara are good friends and nothing beyond that. They do a lot of masti-mazaak in the house like everyone else. In fact, Aanchal would give me a back massage or even Veena would rub my head. It's all done in a healthy spirit," Ali said.
Interestingly, Ali added that he would keep up amicable relationship with Ashmit and is elated to have a good buddy like him.
What came as a surprise is Ali, who initially asked Sara to maintain healthy relation with Dolly Bindra, called her fake. He said, he was shocked viewing Dolly's behavior in the house.
Commenting about Dolly, Ali said, “She loves being the centre of attention and uses bad language and loud voice for effect. She's definitely pretending to be someone else for effect.”

Denying all the accusations that he and Sara married on television to garner TRPs, Ali said, he is planning to throw a grand reception party after Sara comes out of 'Bigg Boss', and he will be inviting all the contestants, except Dolly Bindra.
